                    Esprit has received many awards acknowledging its visionary role in lending new meaning to what an orchestra is today. Music Director & Conductor Alex Pauk has also received many awards for both outstanding leadership of Esprit and collaborative compositions.

• Alex Pauk and Alexina Louie receive the Louis Applebaum Composers Award for excellence in film and television composition



• The Lieutenant Governor's Awards for the Arts, 2000 - for developing private sector and community support



• A 1999 Genie Award nomination for best original film score for Alex Pauk's and Alexina Louie's score for Don McKellar's film Last Night



• The Lieutenant Governor's Awards for the Arts, 1998



• The Lieutenant Governor's Awards for the Arts, 1996



• The Jean A. Chalmers National Music Award, 1995, presented to Esprit for outstanding contribution to musical creativity



• The Financial Post Business in the Arts Award, 1991



• The Financial Post Business in the Arts Award - for distinction in business involvement with Esprit's high calibre and innovative music presentations



• The SOCAN Award of Merit, 1990 (presented by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) for imaginative programming of contemporary music for 1988/89 and 1989/90



• Composers Harry Freedman, Alexina Louie and Colin McPhee have all received nominations and/or JUNO Awards for collaborations with Pauk



• The Art Directors Club of Toronto awarded Esprit a 1987 Merit Award for marketing



• The 15th annual Actra Awards (1986) nominated Alex Pauk for the Ben McPeek Award for best original television score for the National Film Board animation Blackberry Subway Jam
