Individual Donations
Through the tremendous generosity of patrons, Esprit Orchestra is able to explore new orchestral music in its many forms, engage and excite audiences across the nation and build a musical heritage through the commissioning of new works by emerging and seasoned composers for generations to come. Esprit invites you to become a partner in the creation of Canadian musical legacies. In addition to annual or monthly gift options, you may also wish to consider leaving Esprit a residual gift in your will.
Each of our concerts costs in excess of $100,000 to stage, with ticket sales covering only 10% of the costs. Our Creative Sparks Mentoring and Creative Leadership Programme which pairs composers with students to create and perform new orchestral work, costs more than $35,000 to produce. Our New Wave Composers Festival which showcases the next generation of rising star composers and features works by Canadian composers requires an investment of over $75,000 annually.
