Introduce your students to new orchestral music!
Esprit Orchestra provides students with an easy, zero-cost opportunity to do just that and enables them to meet the important composers of today and observe them at work. Esprit serves as an orchestral R & D forge for the 21st century where, through the orchestra’s Toward a Living Art Program, students will engage with the creators of leading edge, dynamic, exploratory trends in today’s music.

Creative Sparks
A mentoring project in new music creation, performance, appreciation and leadership, pairing professional composers with students in the classroom over a 10 week period

New Wave Composers Festival
Showcasing emerging, rising star composers.
In 2001/02, Esprit produced Canada's first-ever New Wave Composers Festival. This well-attended two-day event served as an important event helping launch the careers for 14 rising-star Canadian composers.
